Head Strength + Conditioning Coach
Dickie White-
Dickie is a 2006 graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Clinical Exercise Science. During his four years at Ithaca, he became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT) as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) also through the NSCA. He has since gone on to become the Head Strength Coach at the SHAAC. Although he specializes in working with wrestlers, football players, MMA fighters, and other combat sport athletes, he does maintain a small base of working professional clients. Here’s what some of them had to say about Dickie’s training.
Thanks for another great workout today! So glad I'm part of one of the greatest gyms in the world with THE greatest trainer.
- John Davison, 98.1 The Hawk
Dickie pushes me enough but is not overwhelming. He respects my good and bad days and makes sure I don't get hurt trying to overcome my hurdles. He always looks for feedback, watches my form and does not sacrifice form for gains. He's knowledgeable, has a new twist to offer on a workout and continues to challenge me in different ways. I know that I have achieved a new level in my workouts and that is due to Dickie's guidance. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to achieve new goals, overcome a plateau or increase your fitness level.
-Roxanne Fratezi, Target Pharmacy Manager
When I first started working out at the SHAAC with Dickie White, I was overweight, out of shape, and discouraged with my previous attempts to get in shape.
With Dickie you get individual attention. He works with you to meet your goals, and pays close attention to how your body responds to the workouts. At 43, I’m in the best shape of my life, I feel great and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. For the first time in my life, I actually have FUN working out.
At the SHAAC, you WILL work hard, but Dickie’s versatility keeps it fresh and he really knows how to maximize the workouts to help you realize the biggest gains.
The fact that Dickie works with some elite athletes was a little intimidating, but Dickie and the rest of the folks at the SHAAC made me feel just as important as the J.P. O’Connors and Troy Nickersons. So whether you’re an athlete looking to reach for the next level or just an ordinary Joe who wants to loose weight and get in shape. I highly recommend having Dickie White as your personal trainer.

Head Performance Coach
Chris White-
Chris is a 2007 graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Clinical Exercise Science, a degree he was able to complete in only 3 years while maintaining a GPA above 3.2. While at Ithaca, Chris was the Head Trainer of the Wellness Clinic, a faculty and staff only gym. His philosophies and results driven training were so influential that the Clinic actually purchased a few pieces of equipment Chris suggested would better help the faculty and staff of Ithaca College reach their individual fitness goals. Upon graduation Chris interned with Joe DeFranco and his staff at the world renowned DeFranco’s Training Facility in New Jersey. While there he was able to work alongside the likes of Jeremy Shockey of the New York Giants and Miles Austin of the Dallas Cowboys. He has brought these high level training techniques with him to the SHAAC and, as a result, his clients are making unbelievable gains in strength, power, and flexibility.
